An Invaluable Site for Travelers to Florence and Tuscany

Having just returned from Florence I can testify to the excellence of the advice this site provides, from its discussion of museums, historical monuments and sites that one should visit, to its accurate appraisal of restaurants, pizzerias, and Tuscan cuisine in general. One recommended Florentine Trattoria I had lunch in with my family was exactly as described -- excellent food, modest prices, and warm surroundings. August, when I traveled to Florence, found many restaurants closed for vacation but Filippo did a little research and advised which ones were open. I can't thank him enough.
