Hotel Stella Mary
Location: next to the train station, a few steps from piazza Duomo; also very close to Fortezza da Basso, when your stay is linked to an exhibition or event. Description: Because of its closeness to the train station, you may find morning traffic bothersome, but it’s still tolerable. Remember you are in the heart of the city! The hotel is located in a typical Florentine building and offers great rooms and old world friendliness. They have paying parking facilities, just leave the keys to the staff and they will look after it. The hotel also provides free Wi-Fi internet connection and a first-rate breakfast served in your room. An undeniable excellent choice when you consider price/quality ratio. 
Angelica Hotel
Location: In the heart of the city, near the train station and the characteristic San Lorenzo market. Description: completely renovated recently, the rooms have all the modern comforts and they serve an excellent and abundant breakfast at a very low price. In the event you don’t have a car, it is well serviced by public transport (may be better considering the parking problems in the area!) and at the end of the day, you can relax on the roof’s terrace to enjoy a splendid view of the city’s sunset. The elevator is a little small, as in all our ancient buildings, you will need to make 2 trips if you have a lot of luggage. Not recommended for the night owls , it is a family run hotel and Mrs Angelina will admonish you if you return after midnight! 
Quadra Key Residence
Location: north of Florence, exactly half way between the city centre and the airport, both 10 minutes by car. Description: Quadra Key Residence is brand new and with its position allows maximum freedom of movement. The bus stop bringing you to the Centre is right at the entrance. If you come by car it’s not a problem, it has a comfortable underground parking and an elevator that takes you directly to your floor. The apartments are spacious (can accommodate up to 6 persons) and offer everything you need for your stay, flat screen TV and free wireless connection are just two examples, some apartments also have a balcony. If you prefer doing your own cooking you can supply your pantry at two supermarkets, steps away from the residence. The only down side is that the surrounding area is a bit dismal... but ultimately you don’t come to Florence to explore the hotel surroundings, right? 
Ciao Hostel
Location: via Guido Monaco, a 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre and railway station. Description: established in a newly renovated building, it offers excellent services at affordable rates: satellite TV, free Wi-Fi internet connection and much more. There are 4 four rooms on each floor, a very well equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms as well as a common area dedicated to relaxation. The staff is at your disposal to organize excursions.
