A small starter of crocchè and other small fried appetizers will wet your appetite without filling your stomach, this way you can fully enjoy the quality of ingredients used for the pizzas. The best? Start with the simplest one, the Verace, with mozzarella di bufala DOP, extra-virgin olive oil and a leaf of fresh basil. mmmm ... I can taste even now as I write! As soon as you walk in you will be surprised by the furnishings that you never expect to find in a pizzeria: you are immediately smitten by the play of mirrors and post-industrial architecture with contrasts of light and steel, seems more like a disco or a trendy place rather than a pizzeria … okay, you got it, the place is posh but is the pizza good? The pizza like the appetizers is absolutely exceptional. You must try the spaghetti Scoglio and the pizza with porcini mushrooms, a real sensual assault on your taste buds. Since the portions are also quite abundant, after your first course you can choose to share a pizza with friends, ordering it half one way and the other half with a different garnish, can you ask for more? If you want to grab a quick lunch it’s not a problem, they have delicious canapés. If you just want something sweet, there are some excellent crepes to look forward to… But what if you are looking for a truly different flavor? You can also taste Egyptian specialties... ah yes, I haven’t told you yet, even if Tito now speaks more Florentine than I, having lived in this city a lifetime, he remains a son of Tutankhamen!! As if that wasn't enough I Peccati in Gola is always open, every day until late at night and the service is really fast and efficient, there’s a reason why this restaurant is always full, true? I have known the owner personally for many years and I can tell you that the pizzeria di Tito is a guarantee to an excellent meal.
